our premier services. Like the rest of Template Services, Inc.,

deadlines. Our grinding machinery produces excellent reproductions
of submitted patterns with tight knife to knife tolerances and axial
constant placement to shorten setup times. Andrew (owner) spent
over10 years running moulders at the mill. Our knife grinding service
is designed from a moulder operators perspective so it fits easily
into your mill's routine. Once we get your machineries specs and
your preferences in our system, most customers don't even take the
time to call us with an order. They just fax, email, or send us
an order and a few days later the knives are at their shop.That's

Knife templates
Our knife grinding also offers some unique advantages:
Accu-align TM: This
is a time saving system developed by Template Services, Inc.to address
this issues of lining up the knives in your moulder head. By specially
machining the outside edges of the steel, it allows for quick alignment
when regrinding and running. This indexing point will not change
no matter how far down the knives are sharpened. Call us for customized
information on how to apply this system to your particular machine.
Micro-edge polish TM:
Our innovative edge polish system is a key part of
the incredible finish to be obtained from our moulding knives. It
applies a secondary bevel and polish to the tip of the steel, enhancing
the cutting tips strength and ability to cut smoothly.

Lets Do an Example for our
knife grinding service. We'll use a 2 1/2" casing with a 1/4"
depth of cut. The knife will measure 3/4" wider than the wood
sample to accomodate axial constants/parting legs.
A ). 2 1/2 + 3/4 = 3 1/4 inches of knife
steel.
B ). 3 1/4 inches x 21.00 per inch = 68.25
per knife, 2 knife set = 136.50
B ). Knife set 136.50 + Template 35.00 =
171.50 Total Price
