Spiral Insert Knife Surfacing Heads can be just what the doctor ordered for wood with swirly grain or other difficult to machine lumber. These inserts can be turned four times for a long lasting economical cutting solution. Furthermore, they are much quieter than a regular head making a strong argument for adding these heads to your tooling arsenal.

Heads are made from high strength aircraft aluminum with a fine anodized finish. They come complete with a full set of carbide inserts, and a torx wrench for insert replacement. Heads use radius edge 15 x 15 x 2.5 inserts. Please see our carbide inserts page for replacements.
